Gurneet Bhela

Program Analyst

Gurneet is a Program Analyst for the Global Mental Health program at Grand Challenges Canada.

Gurneet holds a Bachelor of Science in Global Health from York University, with a specialization in health promotion and disease prevention. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work with the Global Fund team at Plan International Canada where she conducted a literature review on evidence-based social media and digital health strategies to improve HIV management and care. She is interested in the intersection of mental health and technology use in youth. Gurneet joined Grand Challenges Canada as a summer student, where she helped to develop gender equality case studies and conduct program analyses for the Open Innovation team.
