Daniel Park is Junior Counsel at Grand Challenges Canada. In this role, he is responsible for reviewing and executing agreements with innovators and ensuring ongoing compliance with a range of Grand Challenges Canada funder requirements and policies.
Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Daniel worked as an associate lawyer at a labour and employment firm in Toronto where he practiced in all areas of management-side labour and employment law, providing advice and representation to employers and management in both the private and public sector on a range of human rights, labour, and employment matters. Daniel received his Juris Doctor from Western University Faculty of Law and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph in Criminal Justice and Public Policy. During his time at Western Law, Daniel was an Associate Editor on the Canada-United States Law Journal, and between his first and second year at Western University, Daniel interned at a law firm in South Korea. During his free time, Daniel enjoys playing guitar, soccer, and watching movies.
