Tyler Gow is a Finance Partner at Grand Challenges Canada (GCC), where his main responsibility is to provide financial support to the Programs area of the organization, enabling innovators to meet pre-award and post-award financial requirements. Tyler conducts institutional risk assessments, reviews innovators’ budgets during the negotiation process, reviews innovators’ financial reports and assists throughout the life cycle of projects. He also provides financial guidance to the Programs/Investments Teams and leads innovator financial information sessions.
Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Tyler was a Manager in the Financial Services Tax practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), working with a wide variety of clients including asset and investment management companies, banks, insurance companies, and private equity firms.
Tyler has Bachelor of Commerce degree, a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, and obtained his CPA designation in 2021. Tyler currently serves on the Board of Directors of Code Youth, an Ottawa based non-profit focused on free providing coding, IT, and web design training to at risk and marginalized youth.
