Patrick Coburn is a Program Associate for the Humanitarian Grand Challenge at Grand Challenges Canada. He helps to guide grant nominees through the negotiation process and provides support to innovators throughout the duration of their projects.
Patrick was born and bred in Harrow, London, UK. He studied English Literature and Media at the University of Portsmouth in the South Coast of England. He has a strong background in Team Leadership and Bookmaking in the Online Sports Betting Industry. In 2011, Patrick relocated to Canada in search of new challenges and experiences. Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Patrick spent a year working at The University of Toronto in the Earth Sciences department, as well as some time with the University Health Network Infrastructure department.
