Patrick Coburn is the Program Operations Manager for the Humanitarian Grand Challenge at Grand Challenges Canada. He oversees the planning and administration of program activities, including processes for sourcing innovations and oversight of innovator support activities.

Patrick was born and bred in Harrow, London, UK. He studied English Literature and Media at the University of Portsmouth in the South Coast of England. He has a strong background in Team Leadership and Bookmaking in the Online Sports Betting Industry. In 2011, Patrick relocated to Canada in search of new challenges and experiences. Having worked with Grand Challenges Canada since 2013, Patrick has gained experience in all aspects of innovation funding across various programs.
