Miral Kalyani is a Program Associate for the Global Mental Health program at Grand Challenges Canada. In this role, she supports seed and transition to scale innovators through the negotiation process and funding lifecycle.
Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Miral was a Senior Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) in New Delhi, India, where she supported monitoring and evaluation capacity-building initiatives for a range of governmental and non-governmental partners. While at JPAL, she also supported the scale-up of e-governance based public finance management reforms aimed at improving government fund-flows and enhancing public service delivery.
Miral holds a MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an Honors BA in International Development Studies and MA in Anthropology from the University of Toronto.
