Laura Rocoski is the Executive Assistant to the Leadership Team. She divides her time between supporting co-CEOs Jocelyn Mackie and Karlee Silver. In addition, she also provides administrative support to Grand Challenges Canada’s Program Advisory Committee and Decolonization Working Group.
Laura Rocoski has spent over eight years working in various roles with non-profit organizations. Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Laura was a Community Relations Officer working with First Nation, Inuit and Metis communities across Canada on multiple economic and community development projects. Before that, she worked in Mexico researching conflict transformation and facilitating youth empowerment programs. Laura has also worked in Liberia, where she developed a literacy program and supported the coordination of a microfinance program for women in entrepreneurship. Laura received her diploma in Community Development from Sheridan College and her post-graduate certificate in International Support Work from Loyalist College.
