Hawa Noor is the Associate Communications Officer for the Humanitarian Grand Challenges Program.

Hawa is a storyteller, researcher, and communications professional. She holds an MA in International Journalism from SOAS University of London. Most recently, Hawa freelanced in Kenya, conducting background research and interviews for an upcoming documentary about coastal Kenyan politics.

In the past, she worked with Safari Doctors, a non-profit organization in Lamu, Kenya, co-creating and implementing their brand identity and communications strategy and supporting the organization with their media relations. She also worked with the Mastercard Foundation, where she focused on planning events and supporting participants in delivering impactful and aligned sessions.
