Ala Elfellah is the Regional Consultant for the MENA Region, for the Humanitarian Grand Challenge.
In her role for the Humanitarian team, Ala conducts research, consultation and creation of media engagement opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa, reaching out to the hardest-to-reach communities in the conflict-affected Arab Region to promote the Humanitarian Grand Challenge request for proposals.
Ala has worked on promoting and implementing projects and educational initiatives, in conflict affected countries and vulnerable communities. She graduated with high honors from Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques, in Brussels, with a Masters research topic on “The Role of Religion in Contemporary Revolutions and Political Upheaval: A Comparative Case Study of Iran and Libya”. Her education and experience evolve around war and peace, reaching out to vulnerable communities and engaging youth, women and men in peace dialogues.
