Abigail is a Knowledge Management and Translation Associate and Grand Challenges Canada. Abigail provides support to innovators in tracking and assessing results, as well as developing knowledge products that capture lessons learned and best practices.
Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Abigail worked in academic and not-for-profit settings with a strong focus on reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health. For several years she was based India, where she worked with the University of Manitoba’s Centre for Global Public Health to document stories from frontline workers on a large-scale health systems strengthening initiative. Abigail also spent time with Noora Health, supporting with impact communications and piloting qualitative data collection processes. Her most recent role was with Aga Khan Foundation Canada, where she managed a portfolio of health projects in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Abigail holds a Master of Public Health from Simon Fraser University and a specialist Honours BA in International Development Studies from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
