The objective of this project is to improve menstrual health management (MHM) and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) knowledge, attitudes and behavior by training young women (15 - 35 years) active in local savings and loans groups to be Huru health and sales ambassadors in Nairobi, Kenya. Huru’s social enterprise model will give Health Ambassadors access to credit and training in business and marketing skills as well as MHM and SRHR topics; enabling them to expand access to Huru’s reusable MHM products and provide information on MHM and SRHR and linkages to related health services. Health services including HIV testing, STI screening, family planning, and cervical cancer screening, will be provided to community members (10-49 years) during 5 community launch events.
