This project is training young community leaders aged 18-25 years to produce materials with a strong health, religious and cultural focus to be used in peer education sessions in high schools, colleges, youth centres, women’s cooperatives and social networks and in radio and television broadcasts in Nouakchott, Kaédi and Sélibay. The material and peer education training will focus on reducing and eliminating female genital mutilation (FGM) in Mauritania.
