Rohangian refugee camps view, Bangladesh
The project will contextualize and evaluate an intervention for community-based child development and maternal depression care in refugee camps, to enable refugee mothers to take better care of their own health and development of young children. An effective intervention for modestly educated providers will deliver ECD care in poor settings. A cluster randomized trial, process evaluation and costing study will determine effectiveness and feasibility in a refugee setting. If useful, the care may get expanded to all refugee populations.
