As she concludes her tenure as Chair of the Board, we warmly recognize Guylaine Saucier for her steadfast leadership, generous service, and enduring dedication to Grand Challenges Canada.
Mme. Saucier assumed the role of Chair in 2015 after serving as a member since the organization’s inception in 2010. In the years that followed, she led with deep commitment to GCC, its people, and its mission. Her steady guidance helped the organization navigate significant moments in its evolution, including changes in executive leadership and funding transitions.
Throughout her tenure, she has been a thoughtful and principled champion of good governance and responsible stewardship, always with a clear focus on impact. She has also helped keep GCC ambitious: encouraging the organization to seek out groundbreaking innovations with the potential to save and improve lives.
