Xi is a Peer Review Coordinator at Grand Challenges Canada. She applies her broad perspective to ensure efficient and high-quality coordination of the review process as well as to support the engagement of external experts.
Xi brings more than six years of administrative experience to Grand Challenges Canada. She spent the first five years in her hometown, Beijing, where she worked for one of China’s leading universities, then for two European diplomatic missions. Since moving to Toronto in January 2020, she has worked for both early childhood and higher educational institutions.
She graduated from Capital Normal University in Beijing, with a BA in French Literature and Culture; and from Aix-Marseille University in Arles, with an MA in Administration in Cultural Institutions.
