Tasha is an Administrative Coordinator with the Every Woman Every Child Innovation Marketplace, a strategic alliance of development innovation organizations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Grand Challenges Canada, the United States Agency for International Development, and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation. The Innovation Marketplace is hosted at Grand Challenges Canada.
Tasha holds a specialist Bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from the University of Toronto. During her studies, she worked in providing educational and employment opportunities to individuals directly affected by the Lord’s Resistance Army insurgency in Uganda. She has also conducted research on the stigmatization of women with epilepsy in Lira, Uganda and their barriers to effective healthcare. Tasha currently volunteers for Girls E-Mentorship, where she helps to connect high school girls facing barriers with standout female mentors. She is interested in maternal and child health, mental health and social innovations.
