Tasha holds a specialist Bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from the University of Toronto where she concurrently fundraised and secured partnerships to support the work of nonprofits providing education and vocational opportunities to individuals directly affected by the Lord’s Resistance Army insurgency in Uganda. She has also conducted research on the stigmatization of women with epilepsy in Lira, Uganda and their barriers to effective healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys sampling food from around the world, travel and some good old fashioned play – because it’s our brain’s favorite way of learning!
