Suhas Monga is a Portfolio Manager on Grand Challenges Canada’s Global Health Innovation team. He manages a diverse portfolio of maternal & newborn health and community health investments aimed at improving health outcomes, supporting innovators in low resource settings.
Suhas Monga is an experienced healthcare professional with over 9 years of experience in health system strengthening across the public and private health sector. At GCC, he manages all stages of impact first investments, from sourcing and screening innovative programs to negotiations and managing post deal execution ensuring innovators have resources and advisory support to scale successfully. In his last role, as Manager with PwC India’s advisory team, he has worked on a breadth of public health projects, encompassing program strategy and design, health policy, supply chain and public-private partnerships with government partners and international development organizations across South and South-east Asia. Previously, he has led operations and quality of a super-specialty hospital in India, overseeing statutory, clinical and non-clinical operations while leading multiple quality improvement initiatives.
Suhas holds a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from Panjab University, India. In his free time, he enjoys engaging in outdoor activities and sports.
