Marin MacLeod is the Knowledge Management & Translation Coordinator at Grand Challenges Canada and is responsible for developing, implementing and enhancing the organization’s knowledge and data management systems. Marin’s focus is on the systems and processes used to capture results and share knowledge generated by grantees and through the organization’s unique innovation platform.
Marin is a public health professional with experience working across a range of health topics, such as water, sanitation and hygiene, nutrition and disease outbreaks. Marin’s previous experience has focused on research and program design and implementation, having conducted field work in Cambodia, Botswana and Jordan, and spent time at the World Health Organization Headquarters in Geneva. Marin holds a Master in Public Health – Global Health Emphasis – and Collaborative Specialization in Public Health Policy from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, and a B.A. (Hons) in Health and Development from Queen’s University.
