Douglas Chow is Senior Manager of Communications at Grand Challenges Canada. His role is to provide leadership in terms of corporate communications, which consists of positioning and promoting Grand Challenges Canada as an organization, its brand, its people and its mission.
Douglas is an award-winning bilingual PR professional with over 20 years of governmental, agency and public company experience.
Recently, as Corporate Spokesperson for CBC/Radio-Canada, he was responsible for developing issues/crisis management strategies and acting as media spokesperson for matters related to: appearances before regulatory and parliamentary bodies; announcements made by the President & CEO; Access to Information enquiries; and wider issues affecting the Canadian broadcast industry.
Douglas has also held senior strategic communications roles at Groupe Juste pour rire, Telefilm Canada and Molson Coors.
Douglas received his Masters of Arts in Media Studies from Concordia University.
