David Masse is Director of Corporate Operations & Human Resources at Grand Challenges Canada, supporting Operations, Communications, IT, Legal, Administration and Finance.
David worked for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for 34 years. During his time at the CBC he worked in a variety of leadership roles in just about every genre of content including Movies, Variety, Documentaries, Current Affairs, Childrens, Comedy and for the last 20 years in Sports. His time in Sports included working on 11 Olympic Games, and numerous FIFA World Cups, Pan Am Games, Commonwealth Games, Paralympic Games and the iconic Hockey Night in Canada. Several of these projects have been recognized as the best in the world.
David has degrees in Communication Studies and Commerce from the University of Windsor and is currently a student at the University of Toronto in the GPLLM program Masters of Laws. David is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for Save the Children Canada, which is a member of Save the Children International, the world’s largest independent child advocacy organization. Each summer for the last 15 years David has travelled to the Colorado Rockies to deliver courses with Outward Colorado.
