Catherine Bravo is a Senior Financial Analyst for Grand Challenges Canada, where her main responsibility is to provide financial support to both programs and corporate areas of the organization, including the review of financial reports, conducting spot-check audits and assisting throughout the financial reporting process.
Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, she was an Analyst in the Infrastructure and Capital Projects team at Deloitte, advising on buy and sell-side transactions in the infrastructure sector. She also previously worked as a Staff Accountant in the audit practice at KPMG, with emphasis in the Real Estate, Construction and Financial Institutions industries.
Catherine obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University in International Business and a Diploma in Business French and Accounting Studies at Western University. She also holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. She speaks Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese at various levels.
Catherine has been a BrainWAVE committee member at the Brain Tumour Foundation for more than five years, where she helps plan and carry out events for children battling or having survived brain tumours. She was previously a Community Outreach volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society for two years, advocating and raising awareness on cancer prevention programs.
