Anne-Isabelle (Annie) Cameron is a Program Coordinator at Grand Challenges Canada responsible for coordinating the OPTions Initiative and negotiating seed and Transition to Scale investment agreements.
Annie studied Global Development and Economics at Queen’s University. During her studies, she completed one year at the Bader International Study Center in the UK and one semester of field studies in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania with McGill University’s Canadian Field Studies in East Africa program. Prior to joining Grand Challenges Canada, Annie interned with Tubahumurize Association, a grassroots women’s organization in Kigali, Rwanda whose mission is to support and empower female survivors of violence and marginalization by offering trauma counselling, life skills coaching, and vocational trainings that enable economic independence.
