Through a one-year full-time fellowship programme called the Period Fellowship, the project will train four menstrual hygiene leaders who will be placed in urban slum communities in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh to improve awareness of healthy menstrual practices and access to menstrual health products. Through a train the trainer model, Period Fellows will select and train five Community Resource Persons (CRPs) to implement a menstrual health management programme for women in their communities.
