The project will train TAC branch members on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) issues in order to build their capacity to support grassroots mobilization and empower citizens in the Eastern Cape and Free State provinces of South Africa to advocate for SRHR related issues in their communities. Branch educators will train branch members on SRHR topics such as Gender Based Violence, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity, LGBTI rights, and adolescent SRHR. Branch members will then initiate SRHR campaigns through in-person and social media-based outreach and act as a link between the public health system and citizens to address SRHR related complaints.
