The project will empower child brides and rape survivors to be sexual and reproductive health (SRH) ambassadors and shift community practices and norms around early marriage and sex and gender-based violence in the Chihota communal area in Zimbabwe. Ambassadors will create safe spaces for discussions around SRHR issues in the community through quarterly awareness sessions and participate in Girls indabas (roundtable discussions) held in conjunction with the National Girls Jury to document SRHR issues in the community. SRH ambassadors will also receive training in producing reusable sanitary pads, financial literary and business development.
