The project seeks to increase the access of school aged Ovahimba girls in Namibia to quality sexual and reproductive health information using storytelling in girls’ camps and clubs to promote the importance of girls completing their school education and reducing the incidence of child marriage. Girls’ camps and clubs, tailored specifically to Ombetja girls, will provide access to Koree menstrual hygiene kits and initiate community wide discussions on child marriage through traditional songs and dances.
