The project aims to build and test an interactive mobile platform (SMS/call/Mobile app) that will provide a mechanism for citizen monitoring of the quality of sexual and reproductive health services in disadvantaged urban areas in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. The mobile platform, targeted towards young girls and women (15-24 years) will allow users to report the quality of health and legal services in Abidjan and engage in dialogue with health care providers to address their health concerns anonymously. Service provision issues reported via the app will be monitored and alerts will be sent to the relevant department for resolution within 72 hours. The service quality alert mechanism will be tested in two health facilities in low income neighborhoods of Abidjan and the online chat platform will be tested with 1000 young girls and women (15-24 years) and 30 health professionals.
