Start Date: 30/06/2018- End Date: 31/03/2021

This project will evaluate child development, parenting stress levels, parenting behaviour and discipline strategies used by refugees from Syria (and marginalized host communities) with children in Lebanon and Jordan, before and after the implementation of the intervention. The “Health, Education and Protection Parenting Program” imparts knowledge and promotes positive parenting through structured group training sessions that cover physical, cognitive, social and emotional development, psychological and behavioural fields, and psychosocial support. Initially delivered by master trainers, expansion will be delivered by graduating couples who will receive additional training.
