Executive Assistant and Office Manager

Heather Navarra is the Executive Assistant to Dr. Singer, Dr. Daar and Mr. Taylor, and Office Manager for Grand Challenges Canada.

Ms. Navarra began her career at IBM Canada and worked in many facets of the company, culminating with being the management interface between HQ Information Services and HR. She left IBM and started her own entrepreneurial endeavor focused on freelance writing, web design and administrative services. Successfully expanding the business over more than a decade, in 2001 Ms. Navarra was offered a position as Office Manager for the Intelligent Transportation Systems Society of Canada, a non-profit organization, where she worked closely with the Board and with members to promote intelligent transportation systems, both in Canada and internationally.
