Kimberley Watkins is a Program Associate at Grand Challenges Canada responsible for the management and coordination of the Stars in Global Health program.
Prior to her role at Grand Challenges Canada, Kimberley worked with the Government of Barbados as a Health Planner where she managed the Pan American Health Organization’s (PAHO) technical cooperation work plan and assisted in the development of various health system strengthening initiatives.
She is a Certified Project Management Professional and holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and Evaluation from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad de Camagüey in Cuba. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of citizens from developing countries. As a former Rotaractor, she has volunteered and raised funds with various organizations to address issues affecting women and disabled children in her community.
