Janne Dingemans is a Program Coordinator at Grand Challenges Canada and coordinates the Saving Brains and Saving Lives at Birth programs.
Ms. Dingemans is a recent graduate of development sociology at the University of Wageningen. In the past year she has been a promoter of sustainable wild-crafted foods in Toronto and helped set up an association to support harvesters of Canada’s indigenous foods in Northern Ontario. Previously she has worked for an Ontario government program administrating training grants to Ontario’s farm community. She is very passionate about how food systems can contribute to healthy communities and sustainable livelihoods of people around the world.
